Last year, Logansport Memorial Hospital proudly announced the formation of a new partnership with the Miami County YMCA (MC YMCA), pledging to provide existing and additional healthcare services to the Miami County community inside the new YMCA building.

As Logansport Municipal Utilities (LMU) continues with the ongoing demolition of the old electric generating plant, a section of the River Bluff Trail along the north side of the Eel River in Logansport will be temporarily closed to the public, effective today (February 22) until Monday, February 28.

Logansport Memorial Hospital is proud to announce that Dr. Benjamin Anderson, Hospitalist at Logansport Memorial Hospital, was nominated and then chosen to receive a 'Hoosier of the Year' award from the Indiana Society of Chicago Foundation, Inc. He was honored as an exceptional health care hero for his hard work and dedication to keeping patients, and the community, safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are excited to announce that the first baby of the New Year was born on January 2 at 10:35 PM to Shana and Brian Enders from Logansport, Indiana. Baby Silas is 7 pounds 14 ounces, 22 inches long, and has a full head of brown hair. 

After a quieter, less restrictive summer, COVID-19 cases are back on the rise across Indiana and the United States. With variants emerging and hospitalizations beginning to increase, Logansport Memorial has
re-evaluated its visitor restrictions policy once again to continue protecting patients and staff inside the hospital.
