LMU will be bringing in large equipment to remove the old coal conveyor that runs above the waters from the south side of the river to the north side. In an effort to keep community members as safe as possible during this project, we ask that anyone using the River Bluff Trail during this time to please be respectful of the barriers and avoid the area so that LMU can complete this project safely and successfully.

The trail will be closed off from the Cole Bridge to the Michigan Ave entrance. The Eel River Run trail will still be accessible.

If you have any questions about this closure, please contact Vicki Byrd at vbyrd@logansportmemorial.org. If you have questions about LMU’s project or the work being done, please contact Lorri Foster, LMU Director of Marketing and Communications at lorrifoster@logansportutilities.com.
