LMH Launches New Patient Communication Platform

On Tuesday November 7, Logansport Memorial Hospital launched United Consumer Communications (UCC) through Artera, a new patient communication platform. UCC is used to communicate with patients for appointment reminders and confirmation, day-of-visit information, referrals, etc. Patients will receive communication in their preferred language (English or Spanish) based on their preferred contact method (text, call, or email) as indicated in their patient chart. Communication will come from the office phone number of the patient’s provider or from the two following phone numbers: (574) 725-3068, (574) 725-3589.

A sample message that a patient may receive from UCC is included below.

Sample: “Jane, please call (574) 686-2022 to schedule your annual exam with Camden Health Center. Thank you!”

UCC messages are secure, and Artera is a trusted partner of Logansport Memorial Hospital. Logansport Memorial Hospital currently uses two other communication platforms to solicit survey responses from patients via phone call or text message, and these platforms are also secure. However, it is always best to use caution when responding to or interacting with unexpected messages.
