Vicki Byrd Set to Retire After a 17-Year Career

At the end of December 2023, Logansport Memorial Hospital’s Vicki Byrd, Vice-President of Planning and Development, will retire from her very successful career after 17 years of service. Vicki’s career in non-profit and community planning work started long before she came to LMH, and her retirement will culminate the decades of dedication she has given to Cass County and the north-central Indiana region.

LMH Launches New Patient Communication Platform

On Tuesday November 7, Logansport Memorial Hospital launched United Consumer Communications (UCC) through Artera, a new patient communication platform. UCC is used to communicate with patients for appointment reminders and confirmation, day-of-visit information, referrals, etc. Patients will receive communication in their preferred language (English or Spanish) based on their preferred contact method (text, call, or email) as indicated in their patient chart. Communication will come from the office phone number of the patient’s provider or from the two following phone numbers: (574) 725-3068, (574) 725-3589.
