Community Gardening Lesson Series to be held at Logansport Memorial Hospital
The ACTS Project of Logansport will be holding a series of seven lessons on individual and community gardening at various community locations throughout January and February. Logansport Memorial Hospital is pleased to be one of those locations, and the classes are free to attend.
The series will provide education on information on the benefits of gardening as an individual interest or as part of a community initiative. There will be a specific focus on the health and wellness benefits received from gardening as a project, passion, or hobby.
The seven lessons will be held at Logansport Memorial Hospital on Tuesdays, beginning on January 14 and ending on February 25. Each lesson session will be from 5:30 – 6:30 pm and held in Conference Room DE.
If you have questions about attending these education sessions, please call Thomas Henderson, Executive Director of the ACTS Project, at (574) 870-6966.
