Logansport Memorial Hospital Foundation scholarships have been awarded. We have proudly presented them to exceptional students pursuing careers in the healthcare or medical fields. By providing students with these awards, it is our hope that they might return to our rural community to enjoy successful careers once they are finished with their education.
The Foundation reviewed several qualified applications this year, and awarded three $1000 scholarships from the Community Education Fund. “We are pleased to assist these students in achieving such high academic aspirations,” commented Vicki Byrd,
Vice-President of Planning and Development for Logansport Memorial Hospital. “We believe they will do well in their future endeavors and we are glad to be part of that.”
Alyssa Reichel is a senior at Logansport High School and will attend Indiana University Bloomington in the fall to study nursing.
Elizabeth Bingaman is a senior at Pioneer High School and will attend Purdue University in the fall. Her career goal is to someday become an orthopedic surgeon.
Katelyn Miller is a senior at Caston High School and will attend Purdue University in the fall. Her career goal is to someday become a nurse practitioner.
LMHF would like to thank the community members, donors, and our hospital employees, who make it possible to provide scholarships like these because of their generosity.
