Logansport Memorial Hospital to hold holiday Toiletries Drive

Beginning on Monday, November 12, collection boxes will be available in the front lobby of Logansport Memorial Hospital as part of our holiday toiletries drive. Employees and volunteers will be bringing in items to be collected until Friday, December 14. The items donated will benefit the Salvation Army here in Logansport.

“It’s important to us that we give back to our community and support it in the way that it supports us,” says Vicki Byrd, Vice-President of Planning and Development. “During the holiday season, we are reminded that there are still people in need, especially in our own community. We don’t often think about the importance and necessity of toiletry items, so we decided that we wanted to help with this kind of contribution.”

The items being collected for donation include:
• Shampoo
• Bar Soap/Liquid Soap
• Laundry Detergent
• Toilet Paper
• Toothpaste/Toothbrushes
• Kleenex
• Hairbrushes/Combs
• Deodorant
• Women’s Feminine Products
• Hand Lotion

Again, this collection will run from November 12 through December 14. The public is encouraged to also participate with hospital employees and volunteers. If you have any questions, please call 574.753.1519.
